CFoB:remnants of La Mexicana panino in my teeth

its raining alot here. good thing i bought that 2 euro umbrella. its rackety.
finals are intense. ive pretty much gotten through one of them, this book we have to make as a class for europ. arch. seminar. ive submitted my share of the bullshit and just have so proof-read some other peoples crap. easy.

studios i think i can handle, but theyll be interesting seeing how i havent really used a 3D program in a while. that might require some long hours, but at least i can do that in all-nighters, assuming my comp holds up.

then theres rennaisance italian literature. a class with way too much work that i never should have taken. (my prof is right behind me, but hes going into the classroom b/c class is in 30min, and he likes to be early). so every class we sit there and he talks for 1hr45min about petrarch or michelangelo or alberti whatever. all the while he asks questions nobody (of teh 6 of us in the class) answers so we sit in silence for a cummalative(sp anyone?) 5min. its one of the only classes ive ever said anything in, just b/c i have to prove ive read the shit (which, surprisingly i usaully have, mostly prob b/c i am terrified of this class)
in addition to our final exam, which if its like our midterm i might as well hang myself, we have to do a presentation. there are 6 of us, so we split into 2 groups. each group gets an entire class session. i have to speak for 25, then we have 30 min of class discussion to lead. then we write a 6-8pg (ill shoot for 5) paper on our contribution to the presentation). i am doing something i know nothing about - surrealism and Dali (even though i have 2 posters by him, its not like i know anything) and dante\s inferno. so i have to teach myself surrealism, learn about dali and his philos., then talk about how he paintd the Divine Comedy. For the last of those, i can find 0 sources. so ive decided to pretend i know art and give my own interpretation of the paintings, something i have no authority on and nothing to back it up. finish the following by next thurs.

otherwise, im glad i bought my jacket, b/c its cold. the apartment stays at a miserable 14/15 degrees C, i dont know how much that is in F, but its cold.

i tried to switch my flight to the earlier date, but its full. so im trying to get one out of rome, milan, or pisa cuz i cant afford to stay until the 20th, nor do i know what to do w/ my luggage.

lost my phone too. its on silent b/c i think i lost it at the theater last night when we saw Harry Potter (so grood) but they dont have it in the lost and found. so i cant call it b/c, silent.
so worse comes i have no phone for the last (crucial) 3 weeks and lose my deposit (like 60-70, i forget)

wanna go hoooome.

That would be about 59 degrees celsius - that's the same temp as my classroom at Boston Latin Academy. (And you are right, it is COLD!)

Celsius temp * 9/5 + 32 = Farenheit
